Brownfield Development
The goal of Los Angeles' Brownfields Program is to develop effective strategies to enable redevelopment of brownfields throughout Los Angeles but particularly in disadvantaged communities and to incorporate these strategies into the City's normal redevelopment process. At the same time, the City is leveraging its involvement in brownfield redevelopment to encourage green building practices. The Crown Coach Site serves as a model for early integration of green building objectives into the brownfield redevelopment process.
