The City of Los Angeles Brownfields Program provides assistance to property owners, community organizations and City agencies in identifying funding for assessment and remediation of brownfields sites.

Phytoremediation is economical: plants do most of the work, control soil erosion, make a site more attractive, reduce noise, and improve surrounding air quality.
